I had some guest from Solapur and they got almost 1 kg of khoya burfi.


I was not sure how to consume the same before it expires.image

At the same time i was wondering what to use as filling for modaks this Sankashti …image

On thinking more i thought of using the khoya burfi. It was a experiment as i was worried what would happen to khoya when it is been fried deep.


Taking the risk i pursued the idea.All the steps remain same as in http://wp.me/p5Slfx-6L. Except for the filling.


To my surprise they turned out good, however they would taste better if used in steam modak.
