Colourful food on holi at “Sante spa cuisine”

Recently I have been taught to apply The 5W theory . Don’T ask me who, why and what. Every time I think, I find myself doing this 5W. Festivals are not excluded from this process. So why Holi or festival of color? Why color in the first place?
Why celebrate with others? Can I celebrate colors everyday?  Why not? Too many ‘W’s!!

It is not essential to apply that 5W/logic/algorithms everywhere. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow. So WHEN friends come knocking your door to celebrate colors, then it is best to open the door and just enjoy!!

WHAT happens when few of them are interested
In doing something more interesting and
share the same liking?

Then we discovered something called as
“Sante Spa Cuisine”:

After playing with colors, we thought of adding more colors
In life by having something We don’t have everyday!! Something that meets the requirement of Healthy food and completely desi.

Sante spa cuisine is located just next to the Osho Ashram in koregaon park, Pune.  The restaurant is part of a resort which is specially built to cater the needs of health freaks.  The menu is intrinsically designed and it will take couple of hours to figure out the best in it for you. So we opted the easy way out of asking for recommendations from the staff.

Everybody somehow unanimously decided to have roasted tomato and garlic soup.

Out of the appetizers  we ordered the most liked was something similar to nachos but this was made from Indian Khakra. The sauce served was fresh and as yummy as it would have been.

Roasted sweet potatoes. Yet another amazing appetizer. I can’t imagine eating sweet potatoes. If one looks at all the presentations, then they will realize that it is not jazzy at all. Extremely simple and organic as much as possible. Earthy i must say!!

The next was lettuce cups. It had salsa made from raw-mango, pineapple, red and yellow bell-peppers served with green-mint chutney.

Since we had kids with us, macaroni with cheese was  an inevitable part of our order. Simply simple and delicious.

Sushi… one of my friend is crazy about them. Trust me Sante Spa serves one of the best sushis made from local rice.

Everything made here is Indian. All the ingredients used are Indian. No facade of spices and unnecessary  use of Onion/Garlic/Ginger.

The staff is extremely courteous and very friendly. They were very proud to share and recommend the items on the menu. We kept on requesting them to allow us to meet the chef who has made such amazing food. They informed us that the food is designed by “Shailendra Kekade” and other chefs execute it.

Sante Spa Cuisine is an must visit for all the foodies who believe in simple and healthy delicious food. Please don’t go if you are use to eating red hot spice curries with lot of ginger/garlic pastes in it.. please go if you want to feel every ingredient used in it.
